4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary.
Service Providers and Contractors
We may use companies that assist with:
- Website hosting, content management, forms, caching, performance, and security;
- Appointment scheduling, customer relationship management, dispatching, and service administration;
- Telephone routing, call attribution, chat, email, and customer communications;
- Payment processing, accounting, and invoicing;
- Analytics, advertising, and campaign measurement;
- Data storage, backup, and technology support;
- Equipment installation, delivery, maintenance, or related field services; and
- Professional services such as legal, insurance, tax, and accounting support.
These companies may access personal information to perform services for AAH.
Analytics and Advertising Providers
We may disclose identifiers, device information, Site activity, advertising information, and conversion data to analytics and advertising providers such as Google, Meta, and The Trade Desk.
These providers may help us measure Site traffic, understand advertising performance, attribute inquiries or telephone calls to campaigns, or deliver interest-based advertising. Depending on the provider, configuration, and applicable law, a provider may act as our service provider or may process information under its own privacy policy.
Our Cookie Policy describes these technologies and available controls in greater detail.
ServiceTitan and Related Operational Platforms
AAH may use ServiceTitan or similar platforms to support appointment scheduling, customer records, dispatching, service communications, call attribution, estimates, work orders, invoices, and related business operations.
Information placed in these systems may include contact details, service addresses, appointment records, equipment information, communications, and transaction or service history.
Manufacturers, Distributors, and Program Administrators
When reasonably necessary to fulfill your request, we may disclose information to:
- Equipment manufacturers or distributors;
- Warranty administrators;
- Rebate or incentive program administrators;
- Utilities; and
- Other organizations involved in equipment registration, warranty service, rebates, incentives, or a requested installation.
Financing and Payment Providers
If you choose to use financing or an electronic-payment option, information may be disclosed to or collected directly by the applicable lender, financing company, or payment processor.
Those organizations determine their own eligibility, credit, security, and privacy practices. AAH is not responsible for an independent provider’s privacy practices.
Legal, Safety, and Compliance Disclosures
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law or legal process;
- Respond to a lawful request from a court, regulator, law-enforcement agency, or government authority;
- Enforce an agreement;
- Protect the rights, safety, property, or security of AAH or another person;
- Investigate fraud, theft, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Business Transfers
Personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, change in ownership, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.
At Your Direction
We may disclose information to another person or organization when you request or authorize us to do so.
5. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
AAH does not sell personal information in exchange for money and does not rent customer lists.
However, some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. Under those definitions, allowing certain advertising providers to receive identifiers and Site activity for cross-context behavioral or interest-based advertising may be considered a sale, sharing, or processing for targeted advertising.
AAH may use advertising technologies provided by Google, Meta, The Trade Desk, and similar providers. Depending on how those technologies are configured and used, they may fall within these broader legal definitions.
Where required by applicable law, you may opt out through the Site’s Privacy Settings and through recognized universal opt-out mechanisms as described below.
AAH does not knowingly sell or use the personal information of children for targeted advertising.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies for Site operation, functionality, analytics, advertising measurement, call attribution, and related purposes.
You can review or change available choices by selecting Privacy Settings in the Site footer. Your choices generally apply to the browser and device on which they are made.
For additional information about the technologies used, the categories of cookies, the providers involved, and browser controls, please review our Cookie Policy.
7. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Some browsers and extensions transmit a universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), indicating that a user wishes to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising.
Where required by applicable law, AAH will process a recognized and legally valid universal opt-out signal as a request to opt out for the browser or device transmitting that signal.
A universal opt-out signal generally applies only to the browser or device from which it is transmitted unless AAH can reasonably associate the request with you across other interactions. It does not disable technologies that are strictly necessary to operate, secure, or provide the Site.
Other “Do Not Track” signals may not receive a separate response unless required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside and whether a particular privacy law applies to AAH or the relevant processing, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information;
- Access personal information we maintain about you;
- Correct inaccuracies;
- Request deletion;
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- Opt out of the sale of personal information;
- Opt out of targeted advertising;
- Opt out of qualifying profiling used to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects; and
- Appeal the denial of a privacy-rights request.
Not every right applies in every circumstance. Applicable law may permit or require us to retain certain information, deny a request, or limit the information provided.
AAH does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning customers. An independent financing provider may make credit decisions under its own policies and legal obligations.
Submitting a Request
You may submit a privacy request through our Contact Us page or by mail using the contact information below.
If using the Contact Us form:
- Select Other as the service;
- Begin the Comments field with Privacy Request; and
- Identify the right you wish to exercise.
You may also use Privacy Settings in the Site footer to manage browser-based cookie and advertising preferences.
Verification
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a request. Verification may involve matching information you provide with information already maintained by AAH.
We will request only the information reasonably necessary to authenticate the request. If we cannot verify your identity, we may be unable to provide, correct, delete, or disclose certain information.
Authorized Agents
Where applicable law permits, an authorized agent may submit an opt-out or other privacy request on your behalf. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may contact you directly to confirm the request unless the agent holds legally sufficient authority to act for you.
Appeals
If applicable law provides an appeal right and we deny your request, you may appeal by using the same contact method and beginning your message with Appeal of Privacy Request.
If the Colorado Privacy Act applies, AAH will respond to an appeal within the period required by that law. If the appeal is denied, we will provide information about how to contact the Colorado Attorney General.
AAH will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
9. Retention
AAH retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to an inquiry;
- Schedule, provide, document, and support services;
- Maintain customer, property, equipment, warranty, and maintenance histories;
- Administer contracts and business relationships;
- Process transactions and maintain accounting, tax, and insurance records;
- Analyze Site and advertising performance;
- Maintain security and prevent fraud;
- Resolve disputes;
- Enforce agreements; and
- Satisfy legal, regulatory, warranty, or recordkeeping obligations.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship involved, the purposes for which the information was collected, and applicable legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.
10. Data Security
AAH uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use appropriate care when sending information electronically and should not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, or similarly sensitive information through general Site forms.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking services for a home or other property. It is not directed to children under 13, and AAH does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to AAH, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
A person requesting or authorizing services must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally authorized to act for the property owner.
12. Third-Party Websites and Features
The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including:
- Financing providers;
- Payment providers;
- Equipment manufacturers;
- Warranty and rebate programs;
- Maps;
- Review platforms;
- Social media;
- Videos;
- Appointment or chat tools; and
- Other external resources.
AAH does not control an independent third party’s privacy, security, or data-retention practices. Review the third party’s privacy policy before providing information through its website or service.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AAH may revise this Privacy Policy when its Site, services, technology providers, business practices, or legal obligations change.
The revised policy will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively, and AAH may provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
